Top Iranian officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian have invited Iranians to enthusiastically participate en masse in this year’s International Quds Day rallies that fall on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a post on his X media network on Thursday, urged Iranians to disappoint Iran’s enemies with their massive participation in marches across the country, echoing a message from Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, elaborating the importance of Quds Day.

Pezeshkian underlined that Quds Day is a manifestation of support for the Palestinian cause and defense of the oppressed people of the world.

Separately, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf called on the people to attend the Quds Day rallies, saying the cries of Iranians will be overwhelmed by the missiles of Islamic warriors against aggressive enemies.

Ghalibaf reminded that the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, which was designated as International Quds Day by the late founder of the Islamic Republic, has annually turned into a nightmare for the “fake and child-killing Zionist regime,” as the voice against the oppression of Palestinians has resonated across the world.

He said in the message that the historic occasion, this year, with the brutal US and Israeli crimes in assassinating the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has made the free people of the world more aware of the danger of the “cancerous” Israeli regime.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry, in a statement, called on the people to reaffirm their commitment to observing Quds Day and honoring the profound legacy of the founder of the Islamic Republic and the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The statement said that the enthusiastic and conscious presence of the Iranian people in honoring this year’s Quds Day will not only be a renewal of allegiance to the lofty ideals of the late Imam and the martyred Leader but also a loud cry from the Iranian nation against the brutal aggression and heinous crimes of the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran.
